Dear Family,
Oh my, things have
EXPLODED here! The past few days have been INSANE and the next few ones are
going to be even more INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha ha but it's ok. I know Heavenly
Father wouldn't ask me to do anything I wouldn't be able to do with the
Savior's help.
My new companion is
Sister Aiello from Italy. Sister Madsen and I are both still site trainers,
even though she's training a new missionary. She is opening Macedon which takes
part of my area, Farmington, and part of the other sisters in the Palmyra ward,
Marion, to create that area. It's pretty crazy! So Sister Madsen and I will
still live in the same house, which will be good because we will still need to
spend a lot of time together doing site training stuff.
I'm really excited
for this next transfer. I know it will probably be the hardest one of my
mission so far. It's going to require a lot of stretching and growing on my
part, but I know it will be ok. Sister Madsen has been really great at helping
me calm down and have confidence going into this transfer, which is very much
appreciated especially since she's stressed out too. I finished reading the Book of
Mormon (I read it all in a transfer! Woo hoo!). I was reading Moroni 7 and it's
all about how charity brings about miracles. I'm so grateful for the
opportunity Heavenly Father is giving me to develop more charity and learn to
rely on Him more.
There are 10 sisters
that arrived to the mission today and 10 elders! Our mission is exploding with
new missionaries! There were only about 4 sister companionships that weren't
affected by this transfer since we had to have 10 trainers. I know they will
all do such a great job. It's just great to see how much we are all growing and
figuring things out together!
Speaking of the Living Christ, I have an assignment for all
of you :) Ha ha we have been sharing the Living Christ a lot to get people
ready for Easter. We have been inviting people to read the Living Christ on
Easter Sunday. I'm going to do it and I would love to have everyone join me :)
I don't know if everyone is going over to Mom's for Easter, but if you are,
maybe you could read it together :) Ha ha just a suggestion :)
Anyway, I'm about out
of time. Thanks for all the love, support and prayers. Heaven knows I need
them! I can't even tell you how grateful I am to be able to serve a mission. I
have grown and changed so much more than I even imagined I could, and I know it
will continue. I know it's all true! I love you all so much!
Love,
Sister Butters
