Dear Family,

It's been a good week here in Farmington!

I'm pretty sure I'm getting transferred. It's crazy because I feel surprisingly calm about it all. I'm in a come what may and love it state right now! I'm ready for whatever Heavenly Father has in store!

So have any of you read the talk on grace in this month's Ensign. If not, do it RIGHT NOW!!! It is seriously sooooo good! Changed my life! One of the Sisters has a copy of the full talk that she let me read and one of my favorite lines is "We aren't here earning heaven, we are here learning heaven." It talks a lot about how grace and the atonement aren't things that kick in at the end of our lives, but they are working right now. The atonement is meant to help us grow and progress so we will feel at home when we make it home to Heavenly Father. I read that for personal study one day and read Romans 8 during it too. I would recommend that everyone read both of them! I'm so grateful Heavenly Father sent me on a mission to learn more about the atonement and how it works in my life. I know I will never fully understand all of it, but I am growing in understanding a little at a time, just like everyone else.

Things at the sites have been slowing down a bit. I have this fear that I'm getting transferred out to full proselyting (I'll go wherever God wants me to but I would certainly prefer to stay at the sites), so I've been treating each tour as if it were my last. Regardless of whether it is or not, I'm going to keep looking at it like that. My tours have been a lot better with that mindset.

Anyway, I kind of read over what I've written and I just want to let you all know that it really has been a good week. It wasn't a perfect week, but where's the learning in that right? I need to remember the lesson I keep learning on my mission to trust in the Lord's timing. I know all will work out!

Love you all times a billion!

Love you! Miss you! The gospel is true!

Love,

Sister Butters

Whitney and Sister Miller who is from Davis County as well.
