Dear Family,
We had zone
conference yesterday. I was sitting there waiting for it to start and I pulled
out my notebook to write the date. I realized it was the 27th. What?! How did
that happen that ANOTHER month passed by? I just don't understand why it's
going so quickly! It's very very bittersweet of course.
Things this week has
been slightly uneventful. Zone conferences are going on. Ours like I said was
yesterday and Sister Killen and I did a training for it. We have to go to the
Palmyra South zone conference today too to present the training.
The Francis's first
zone conference was sooo good! Sister Francis spoke on Christlike attributes
and President Francis talked about remembering our purpose. It was such a great
meeting! My favorite thing Pres. Francis said was, "Obedience brings
blessings. Exact obedience brings miracles." I know that is true in
mission life and real life. I say it time and time again but the number one
thing I've learned on my mission is that nothing is worth sacrificing having
the Spirit with us. No TV show, movie, activity, pride, popularity... NOTHING.
The way to ensure miracles in our lives in the growth of our testimony and in
obtaining God's will is to be obedient to the plan laid out in front of us. I
know it's true!
Last Thursday I was
working at the Smith Farm and got to take President Francis and his family on
tour. I was super nervous ha ha. But I think it went really well.
Anyway, I'm about out
of time for the week. Just know how much I love and miss you all. I love being
a missionary with all my heart. I have never felt as much joy as I have now
seeing lives change.
Keep doing the things
you need to do to build trust in God. I know He's so aware of each of you.
Love you times a
billion!
Love,
