Dear Family,
I feel like I just wrote you all! Oh wait, I did ;-)
ha ha ha. It feels weird to have another P-day so close together, but
now I'll be back on my normal Tuesday track.
Ha ha I kind of feel like I don't have a lot to say today since I just
barely wrote you all. I must be a boring person or something ;-)
Random thought, it was really cool serving at the BOMPS on
Saturday! It was the 189th anniversary of when Joseph Smith went to the
Hill Cumorah and say the plates for the first time. I'm excited that
I'll still be here next year for the 190th. President and Sister
Christianson, the office couples and the APs walked from the Smith Farm
to the Hill to celebrate. I'm totally going to plan on doing that next
year! It was so cool to be able to point out to people on tour that it
was Sept. 22, the very day that Joseph saw the gold plates for the first
time! I think it really added a certain reverence to the tours that day
because people were able to think back and see how that day changed their
lives because we have the Book of Mormon because of it. Have I ever
mentioned how awesome it is to give tours at the sites where these
things ACTUALLY happened? Being a missionary is the best. The Book of
Mormon is awesome! I just love life. Word. (Ha ha I threw that in for
you Kels)
Anywho, I'm about out of time now. We are headed up to Chimney
Bluffs in Sodus to go for a picnic and hiking with the Newark South
sisters.. Ha ha yes, I just said I'm going hiking.
Don't die of shock.
Love you all times a billion! Miss you!
Sister Butters
