November 27, 2012

Dear Family,

Well, it's the first transfer on my mission where the changes have actually affected me. Sister Adams was transferred to Seneca Falls and Sister Hawkes was transferred full proselyting to Brockport, so I have a new companion and a new roommate. My new companion is Ofa Fetuli from Tonga! She was just Sister Gillespie's companion (she trained her then had a third transfer with her, just like Sister Adams and I). Sister Graham is still in Newark South, but now she's with Sister Park from South Korea.

I forgot my planner from last transfer at home (which includes the schedule from last week) and I feel like I can't remember a thing of what happened to me last week ha ha. I'll try my hardest to remember.

Oh, I'm feeling 100% better by the way. I'm glad because being sick stinks, especially because it makes you feel like a slacker of a missionary.

Last Friday we had our last district meeting with our celestial district. Ha ha that's what we liked to call ourselves because all of us got along SO WELL! We all have become such great friends. At the time we weren't sure it was going to be the last time we would all be together, but we kind of had a sense it would be. After we went to this Chinese buffet. We pass it every time we go to Lyons and Sister Adams always said she wanted to go there but I REFUSED because it looked super sketchy on the outside. Well, everyone else in the district wanted to go eat lunch there so we did. I was pleasantly surprised! The inside looked nothing like the outside. It was really clean and the service was great and the food was too. Ha ha moral of the story? Don't judge a book (or a restaurant) by it's cover.

Anyway, I'm about out of time. Sorry this is late and short. Transfers have fried my brain. I don't have any pictures with Sister Fetuli yet so they will come next week.

Sorry, but I probably won't have time to do a handwritten letter this week either. Just know that I love you all and appreciate your support way more than you know!

Miss you all and love you tons!

Love,

Sister Butters
