Dear Family,
Spring has finally
hit good old Palmyra, NY! It is a beautiful day outside and everything is so
green! The trees are going to be budding soon which will be beautiful (I'll
probably have to take a lot of allergy medicine, but who cares!) The only thing
I don't like about spring here is that it smells like cow poop a lot of the
time since everyone is getting the fields ready for planting. Ha ha.
Nothing too terribly
exciting has happened this week. It's been a good week but kind of a weird one
investigator wise. It seems like everyone has been too busy to see us so we've
been doing a lot of finding... in the rain :) Ha ha it's A.O.K. though :) We
met 15 new people yesterday and taught 5 lessons while tracting. Most of them
weren't interested in learning more after that, but seeds planted, right? We
met a couple of people that said we could come back but wouldn't set return
appointments so we will just have to try again the next time we are in that
area.
This past week I got to work at the Book of Mormon
Publication Site three days in a row! Normally that doesn't happen but because
of the exchange that happened, and I loved it. I don't really have a favorite
site (it's hard to pick because I love them all) but I definitely always have
great experiences at the BOMPS. On Sunday, I took two tours of people from New
Zealand and one from Australia. Pretty neat, huh? One of the New Zealand tours
was mixed with a group President brought in with a friend he knew growing up.
It was a lot of fun to take President on tour because he was able to add so
much! He always lets Sister Aiello and I talk first and then just built on the
information we presented. I seriously feel so lucky to have him as my mission
president. It's going to be sad to see him go, but I know I'll love President
Francis too.
Anyway, sorry this is
a super boring letter! I love you all so much! Thanks for all the love and
support! Miss you tons, but the time is sure flying by! How is it the 17th of
April?! Anyway, hope you have a great week!!!!!!!!!
Love,
