Dear Family,
It's been a good week here in
Brockport!
We had interviews with President
this week. He was asking how things were going, and he helped me see how I have
so much more power to MAKE good things happen here. It's all about faith.
Wasn't conference just amazing!! I
loved every single second of it. There were so many wonderful talks. The
general message I got from conference is that God's doctrine doesn't change,
which is so comforting. One of my favorite talks was by Elder Soares on
Saturday morning about being meek and humble. I really needed to hear that.
We've seen a lot of success meeting
with members this week. President is encouraging us to role play with members
how they can share the gospel with their friends. We did it last Sunday with
one couple and it went really well. President Francis promised me in my
interview that if we really focused on the members, we would see miracles and
would have people to teach. I trust him because he represents Christ and I know
it will happen.
Sorry, but I've got to go. Love you
so much. Just know that through faith, we can work miracles. I know that is so
true. Just keep doing what you are supposed to do and I know Heavenly Father
hears prayers.
